Built on Odoo 17 · Live demo running today

Your guests order. Your POS already knows.

SmartPOS turns every table into a self-ordering point of sale. Guests scan a QR code, order from their own phone, and the ticket lands on your Odoo POS with a bell — no tablet fleet to buy, no middleware to certify, no third-party POS to reconcile against.

Dine-in & takeaway Multi-brand, multi-outlet Multilingual menus Running on Odoo 17

ONE ORDER · ONE DATABASE · NO MIDDLEWARE

How it works

From the table to the ledger in four moves

No app to install for the guest. No second screen for the floor team. The order takes one path and it ends in the same database your accountant already reads.

01

Scan

A printed QR on the table, the counter or the receipt opens the menu in the guest's browser. No app store, no sign-up.

02

Order

Guests browse in their own language, pick modifiers, add to cart and send — dine-in at the table or takeaway at the counter.

03

It lands on the POS

The order is written straight into that outlet's Odoo POS session. Your team hears the bell on the screen they already work from.

04

Pay & report

Close the bill on the POS. Revenue, stock movements and outlet-level reporting are already in the same Odoo database — nothing to export.

Solutions

One ordering platform, shipped module by module

SmartWeb is live and running in production today. The rest of the range is on the roadmap and labelled honestly — we would rather show you what works than sell you a slide.

SmartWeb

Available now

QR ordering on the guest's own phone. Multilingual menu, dine-in and takeaway, orders written directly into the outlet's POS session. This is the module powering our public demo.

SmartKiosk

Coming soon

A floor-standing self-order terminal for counter-service and quick-service formats, sharing the same menu, the same pricing and the same POS session as SmartWeb.

SmartTab

Coming soon

A server-held tablet for table-side ordering, so waitstaff and guests write to one ticket instead of two — useful for full-service formats and set menus.

SmartPay

Coming soon

Pay-at-table and pay-at-kiosk, settled against the POS order before the guest stands up. Regional payment rails are scoped per market.

AI Menu & Upsell

Coming soon

Item recommendations and add-on prompts tuned per outlet from that outlet's own order history — not a generic model guessing at your menu.

Loyalty & Chain Analytics

Coming soon

Chain-wide loyalty and cross-outlet performance reporting built on the same dataset your POS already writes to — no separate warehouse to feed.

Why TechNext

Most ordering vendors have to talk to your POS. We are it.

That single architectural difference removes an integration project, a reconciliation habit and a line item from the invoice. Here is the honest side-by-side.

Where it bites
Ordering layer bolted onto a POS
SmartPOS
POS integration
Certify and pay for a connector to whichever POS each outlet runs, then re-certify every time that POS is upgraded.
There is nothing to integrate. The order is written into the same Odoo POS session your staff already ring sales on.
Where the data lives
Ordering data in the vendor's cloud, sales data in the POS, joined back together by nightly export and a spreadsheet.
One Odoo database. Orders, sales, stock moves and journal entries are the same records, queried the same way.
Back office
Inventory, purchasing and accounting are separate purchases from separate vendors, each with its own login and its own export.
Odoo 17 ships POS, inventory, purchasing, accounting and revenue reporting in the box. Switch on what you need, when you need it.
Branding
Guests see the vendor's template with your logo dropped into the corner, identical across every client on the platform.
Each brand carries its own logo, colour and language set. Each outlet is its own company in Odoo. One platform, many brands, white-labelled.
Rollout
Hardware procurement and lead times before the first order can be taken at all.
The first outlet goes live on a printed QR code. Kiosks and tablets get added later, onto the same menu and the same POS session.
Cost model
Per-outlet licence, plus an integration fee, and in many cases a percentage of every order that passes through.
One per-outlet price. No POS integration fee, because we are the POS. No commission on orders.

Pricing

Priced per outlet. Nothing hidden behind an integration line.

Every tier includes the SmartWeb ordering flow and the Odoo POS underneath it. You pay for scale, not for the privilege of connecting two systems that should have been one.

Comparable regional ordering platforms publish list prices from SGD 99 per outlet per month. Every SmartPOS tier sits USD 10 below the equivalent bracket — and there is no POS integration fee, because we are the POS.

Prices in USD, per outlet, per month, on an annual agreement, before tax. Month-to-month is available at USD 10 more per outlet. Kiosk and tablet hardware is quoted separately when those modules ship. Setup is free on annual plans.

The platform

Built on Odoo 17, not bolted beside it

SmartPOS is not a front end shopping for a POS to talk to. It is a set of Odoo 17 modules, so the ordering layer and the business system are the same application — and everything Odoo already does well comes with it.

Each outlet is its own company inside the database, which is how a chain runs several brands without several systems. Each brand carries its own logo, palette and language set. When you outgrow us, the data is in a standard Odoo schema with standard APIs — no export ransom.

FAQ

The questions operators actually ask

How long does it take to go live?
For a single outlet with a menu we can import, the first table can be taking orders in days rather than months: create the outlet company, load the menu, print the QR codes, and walk the floor team through the POS screen they already know. Multi-outlet chains are scoped per rollout, because the long pole is menu data and staff training, not software.
Do we have to replace the POS we run today?
In most cases yes, and we would rather say so plainly: SmartPOS runs on Odoo POS, and that is precisely why there is no integration fee and no reconciliation work. If your chain has to keep an existing POS for contractual reasons, talk to us on the Enterprise track — we scope that situation individually instead of promising a generic connector we have not built.
Does it handle Vietnamese and other languages?
Yes. The guest menu is multilingual and the interface already handles Vietnamese and English. Additional languages are configured per brand, so a chain can run one language set in one market and a different one next door without duplicating the menu.
What happens when the internet drops?
The POS side follows standard Odoo POS behaviour and keeps selling through short connectivity gaps, syncing when the link returns. Guest QR ordering needs the guest's phone to reach the internet — that is true of any web ordering flow — so keep printed menus and the POS as the fallback path during an outage.
Who owns the data, and where does it sit?
You do. Each outlet's records live in its own company inside your Odoo database. You can host that database yourself, in your own VPC, or let us host it for you. There is no requirement to hand guest or sales data to a third-party ordering cloud, because there is no third-party ordering cloud in the path.
Is there a minimum contract?
Listed prices assume an annual agreement. Month-to-month is available at USD 10 more per outlet per month. Setup is free on annual plans. Enterprise terms are negotiated per rollout.
What hardware do we need to buy?
Nothing extra for SmartWeb: guests use their own phones and your team uses the POS screen. Kiosk and tablet hardware for SmartKiosk and SmartTab is quoted separately, and only when those modules ship — we are not going to bill you today for a terminal that is still on the roadmap.
Can we see it working before we commit?
Yes. smartweb.technext.asia is a live, public demo of the SmartWeb ordering flow — scan or click through it right now. Book a demo and we will walk you through the POS side of the same order, plus the multi-outlet setup.
